Other benefits for girl students in West Bengal::

Education & Technology: Sabooj Sathi provides free bicycles to students in classes IX-XII to reduce dropouts. Additionally, students in higher secondary levels receive ₹10,000 for procurement of tablets/PCs.

Higher Education Loans: The Student Credit Card scheme offers loans up to ₹10 lakh at a nominal 4% yearly interest rate for pursuing higher studies in India or abroad.

Scholarships: The Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship (SVMCM) is available for meritorious students, and specific,, post-matric scholarships are available for SC/ST/OBC students through the Backward Classes Welfare Department.
