The Kanyashree Prakalpa design is a successful Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) scheme by the West Bengal government, using two main financial incentives (K1 Annual Scholarship & K2 One-Time Grant) to keep teenage girls in school (Class VIII+) and delay marriage until at least 18, reducing dropouts and improving well-being, featuring direct bank transfers, online tracking, and linkage with education/vocational pursuits, noted for its efficiency and impact on empowerment.
